New Position to develop and manage wind projects under S4E Who will this position report to and how frequently will they communicate and meet up? Director S4E & AVP – Commercial: daily/weekly Sr GM-Ops – daily/weekly How many people will be reporting to this person? Initially none. Eventually a team will be built. What is the biggest or most critical problem this person needs to solve immediately? The most critical problem is we don’t have expertise in the Group for wind energy. We need to investigate wind energy potential across various geographies in which we are present and identify the prospective opportunities. What is the most important key deliverable/result we want to achieve 1 year from now? To survey the various sites, identify the various opportunities, carryout the feasibility study for each project site and find out the viable project to implement. Within 1 year, it is expected that at least three sites are identified and project budgets are prepared, at least 2 contracts are won and engineering has started. First 30 days: Site visits + survey, soil testing. First 90 days: Secure site approvals, finalize procurement, start foundation work on schedule. Detailed engineering designs + permits approved. Supplier contracts signed, materials ordered. Reporting & Governance setup. QHSE set up. Vendor finalization done What are the key objectives to achieve the first 6 months? Complete foundations, turbine delivery, and installation progress on budget. All civil works (roads/foundations) finished, electrical groundwork started. Turbines/components delivered on-site, crane mobilization ready. Zero major variances in monthly plan vs actuals dashboard What are the key objectives to achieve the first 9 months? 90% turbine installation complete, electrical/grid tie-in underway, pre-commissioning tests passed. Turbine erection finished for all units, cabling/testing in progress. Grid interconnection permits secured, handover protocols tested. JOB DESCRIPTION Conduct regular site visits to assess conditions, track progress, and ensure compliance with technical and safety standards. Contribute to basic layout and design work, including turbine placement, foundation details, and electrical connections, in collaboration with engineering teams. Liaise with the procurement department to define technical specifications, evaluate supplier bids, and follow up on material delivery schedules. Supervise construction, installation, and commissioning activities, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Manage project documentation, including technical drawings, progress reports, and inspection records. Support the development of risk assessments, HSE plans, and quality control protocols. Facilitate communication between civil, electrical, and mechanical teams, ensuring smooth integration and consistent technical standards. Identify potential delays or technical challenges and propose appropriate mitigation measures. Requirement Details Education Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineering; Master’s or PMP preferred. Experience 6 to 8 years, with 3-5 years in wind project execution, site supervision, or construction; prior renewable energy experience Certifications OSHA safety, PMP, or wind-specific training advantageous.
